A gin sour classic
This refreshing classic was originally devised as a way to help sailors avoid scurvy. What better way to get people to take their medicine than mixing it with a fine spirit? Scurvy might be a thing of the past, but there are few more refreshing drinks for a hot summer day than a classic gimlet.
2 ½ oz. gin
½ oz. fresh lime juice
½ oz. simple syrup
Add all the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
