Truly unique, and full of complex flavor
Vodka gets overlooked a lot in the mixology world which is unfortunate. I love whiskey and gin, but when you turn these into cocktails, it's always a balancing act between the flavor of the liquor and the other cocktail ingredients. Vodka, however, is a vehicle for these flavors and helps tie them together.
2 oz. Nemiroff Vodka
½ oz. Italicus rosolio di bergamotto
½ oz. Amontillado sherry
½ oz. St. Germain
¼ oz. Green Chartreuse
Barspoon grapefruit shrub
Stir ingredients with ice in a mixing glass to chill.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
