Allegory is a unique speakeasy-style bar in DC that is known for their creative cocktails and standout murals. These murals depict Ruby Bridges as Alice in Wonderland taking on the strange world on her own. After conversing with the bartenders for a few hours about the paintings, one of the bar managers Paully Gonzalez dropped this drink in front of me. 

It is extremely complex and spirit-forward. The whiskey and mezcal provide an interesting flavor dynamic while the Campari and walnut bitters bring multi-dimensional flavor. Definitely a drink you won't forget.
