DAIQUIRI
Woefully misunderstood, a true daiquiri is simple and pure
The classic daiquiri has been around for over a hundred years but in recent times, it has become the unfortunate victim of mass commercialization. Today, you're more likely to find the daiquiri in a pre-mixed bottle or a slushy machine at a spring break beach bar, than you are to find it on a cocktail feature list. This is a shame, because in its purest form the daiquiri is a simple and delicate balance between sweet and fresh and absolutely deserves a place at the bar.
