FELIZ NOW I'M DRUNK
Think Christmas in July or a snowy Margarita
When trying to think of a holiday margarita recipe, I looked out the window at the snow and thought, "Wouldn't it be great if a margarita could look like that?" That's when coconut milk came to mind. Combining it with honey brought back memories of milk and cookies or warm milk before bed. More importantly, however, it resulted in a creamy, delicious margarita that is perfect for the holiday season. Have one or several, whatever you need to stay in the spirit of the season.
FELIZ NOW I'M DRUNK
Ingredients
2 oz. Tequila Reposado
½ oz. Rum
½ oz. Cointreau
3 oz. Coconut milk
½ oz. Lime juice
½ oz. Honey
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain and serve in rocks glass. Garnish with mint.
Coconut milk may begin to separate after a while and require stirring again.
