BRING JUNE FLOWERS
The perfect spring refresher from The Up & Up NYC
Sometimes I scroll through PUNCH looking for new ideas and find a cocktail that immediately catches my eye. When I saw this "Bring June Flowers" cocktail from The Up & Up NYC I knew I had to make it. Spring's here, the flowers are finally blooming, and it's time to start drinking for the season. This drink definitely looks and tastes the part.
It's a sort of riff on a White Negroni that has a strong gentian bitterness from the Suze yet still remains light and floral thanks to the ingenious addition of Jasmine syrup. The cucumber is incredibly refreshing and reminds me of that feeling you get when you sip a mojito, at peace. In name and in flavor, this is a perfect drink to kick up on the porch, forget the world's problems, and welcome Spring.
