EMERALD ISLE

A perfect drink for St. Patrick's day or just any time you feel like it

For St. Patrick's day I wanted to make a drink that was green and ready for spring. After a few attempts I fell in love with this recipe. This drink is earthy, vibrant, and way too hard to put down once you start sipping. Your days of green beer in college might be in the past, but that doesn't mean you cant enjoy a green drink that makes you happy still. Make one for yourself and I guarantee this will become a spring-time favorite.

EMERALD ISLE

Ingredients

  • 1  ½ oz. Irish whiskey

  • ½  oz. Domaine de Canton

  • ½  oz. Honey Syrup

  • ½  oz. Fresh lemon juice

  • ½  tsp. Matcha

  • 4 Mint leaves

Instructions

Muddle honey syrup and mint leaves together in a shaker tin. Add remaining ingredients and shake vigorously with ice. Fine strain into a Collins or Irish Coffee glass over ice. Garnish with mint sprig.
