HOT TODDY
The quintessential cold-weather cocktail
The go-to cold weather cocktail is warming, filling, and restorative. The drink first became popular in England and Scotland during the 18th century when barman poured hot water over their whiskey to stay warm. Although you might be hard pressed to find a doctor that prescribes a hot toddy to cure winter ailments, its hard to doubt the medicinal benefits of honey, lemon and brown liquor on a cold day.
