Sherry and whiskey from the Flatiron Room NYC
The Old Fashioned has always been my go to nightcap, but last night I had some leftover sherry I needed to use. After a quick search online, I found this amazing concoction from The Flatiron Room NYC. It's spicy, nutty, fruity and has chocolate! What else could you ask for in a good nightcap?
THE TRIUMPH
Ingredients
1 ½ oz. Bourbon (preferably Elijah Craig Small Batch)
½ oz. Pedro Ximénez Sherry
2 dashes chocolate bitters
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with ice.
Stir well and strain into an Old Fashioned glass over ice.
Rub inside rim of glass with lemon peel and throw in to garnish.
